Riding a wave of feverish acclaim following the release of their breakout album Getting Killed, New York’s Geese are bringing their electrifying live show to Palace Foreshore.

The run follows a string of intimate underplays and sold-out shows that have only fanned the flames of their meteoric rise, propelling the once-cult favourites into superstardom at light speed.

Fresh off beating industry heavyweights Tame Impala, HAIM, Turnstile and HUNTR/X to take home International Group at the BRIT Awards, Geese have been on a non stop roll. From their Saturday Night Live debut and NPR’s Tiny Desk to sold-out shows at Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom and London’s Troxy, the frenzy has only intensified, culminating in their biggest hometown headline shows yet at Forest Hills Stadium in New York.

At the heart of it all is Getting Killed. Released in September 2025 through Partisan Records, the restless, fractious album moves between tenderness and fury, earning a coveted 9.0 and Best New Music from Pitchfork. Consequence hailed it as “one of the most creative indie rock records of the 2020s,” sending the hype surrounding the band to fever pitch. Critical acclaim followed at every turn, with the album topping year-end lists at The New York Times, Time and The New Yorker, and placing fifth on Rolling Stone’s list.

With a growing legion of fans and a reputation for unpredictable, electrifying performances, Geese are shifting into overdrive with their biggest headline acts in the region to date.
